Mark Making and Mood: An Expressive Painting Experience
This is not your average paint class. Mark Making & Mood is a guided exploration of expressive painting that focuses on movement, emotion, and raw creativity and fun. Perfect for anyone looking to reconnect with their inner artist and shake loose the stress of daily life. (This will take place in my studio warehouse in south Nashville). Classes are limited to 8 people.
Participants will:
Learn intuitive painting techniques
Explore gesture, rhythm, and texture
Experiment with unconventional tools
Create a finished abstract piece on canvas
Why People Love This:
It’s liberating. There’s no “wrong” way to paint.
It’s physical. Get out of your head and into your body.
It’s therapeutic. Many describe it as art therapy without the pressure.
It’s beautiful. The results are often stunning, raw, and deeply personal.
Every Class Includes:
2 hour guided session
All materials (acrylic paints, canvas, brushes, tools needed for the session)
Warm-up (breath and intentions)
Light refreshments
Saturday, July 12 10:30 AM - 12:30 PM CST
Classes are non-refundable and non-transferable.
