There are certain days you wish you could bottle up and keep forever.
The ones filled with warm light, flowers growing a little too enthusiastically, bare feet, late sunsets and absolutely no reason to hurry.
Always Chasing Summer was painted for that feeling.
A sun-washed golden ground glows beneath layers of coral, blush and bubblegum pink blooms, tangled with deep garden greens, earthy olive and unexpected touches of periwinkle blue. Flowers stretch upward, overlap and disappear into one another, creating the feeling of a garden at the height of summer, when everything seems to be blooming at once.
Part of my Field Notes: In Full Bloom release, this original expressive floral painting is loose, layered and intentionally imperfect. Brushstrokes remain visible. Stems wander. Tiny blossoms and spontaneous marks are tucked between larger blooms, rewarding you with something new each time you look.
